Our culture is constantly bombarded with all kinds of fad diet and weight loss plans. There are products that claim to guarantee you will drop 30 pounds in seven days, products that assure that you will never be hungry again, and even products that claim of a miracle pill that you take once changes your lifestyle forever. Consumer beware! They sound too good to be true because they are. Don’t waste your money on bottles of synthetic diet pills and miracle fat cures.

Eastern medicine has used natural remedies for centuries and even many plants for natural herbal weight loss. The FDA does not evaluate or endorse herbal remedies for use in The United States, and any weight loss plan must be done in moderation to be most effective and used correctly to be safe. With that said, there are three main natural herbal weight loss techniques that have proven to be safe and effective.

These herbs are readily available, inexpensive, and easy to integrate into your daily routine. The use of cayenne, green tea, and seaweed is shown to be an integral part of natural herbal weight loss. If you love spicy food or even have a tolerance for it, try adding a bit of cayenne pepper to your favorite dish. Cayenne contains capsaicin, an ingredient proven to stimulate digestion and raise metabolism. If spicy is not your cup of tea, then maybe green tea fills your cup better. Green tea is a natural stimulant that also contains vitamin C and antioxidants.

Last, but certainly not least, seaweed is an excellent source of some of the trace minerals such as iodine and chromium. These minerals stimulate the thyroid, a gland that controls the burning of energy in your body. All are excellent items to integrate into a natural herbal weight loss plan. Natural herbal weight loss is not a complicated scenario. Pure cayenne can be purchased as whole peppers, seeds, or crushed powder at your local market. If you are really savvy, you can even grow it yourself. It is a lovely plant and the peppers ripen in beautiful colors.

Green tea is also easily attained and you can purchase it as loose leaves or crushed in tea bags for easy steeping. Steep it as you would any other herbal tea and it makes a wonder post-meal treat. The answer is simple. We concentrated our diet plan on losing weight, but never considered how our plan would affect body fat weight loss. There are a number of ways to lose body weight and still have excess body fat. Body fat is tissue that is part of our body mass that is not water, lean muscle, or vital organs. All of these things make up the body mass that determines how much we weigh.If body fat weight loss is our goal, then we must consider the diet and exercise plan that we choose and be sure it is catered to losing the body fat and not some other component that makes up our body mass.

They are merely water pills that cause you to expel excess amounts of water that in turn, decrease your body weight while retaining the body fat.
